From a comment on another blog of mine came the tip for this new website called Hasankeyf. The pictures are fantastic and hopefully if more people can get involved with the cause to save Hasankeyf, it will be wonderful.

sorry for the delay folks, after a brief hiatus I am back in the saddle so to speak.  I have two new links for you today and then a Global Voices update hopefully later on.

First up a new Kurdish News site called New Kurdistan, it seems that many Kurds are opting to create news sites rather than blogs which I find a unique.

Second up is a new blog (shown to me by a generous comment-thank you readers) called I, me and others (including you).

I treasure all of the comments that I receive on this site, however I dislike it when people tell me that I “forgot” someone. It is not my intention to forget anyone, it is a case of us not finding each other yet. At the moment we are a 2-man operation. I search through internet tags everyday, through known Kurdish blogs, comments, discussion groups, etc…this website is a labor of love. We do not discriminate here, please don’t send comments implying that I am.

Another find I stumbled across when browsing the comments on the Kurdistan Bloggers Union, is the newly started Kurdistan Kongresi.  At the moment they have 2 posts, one in Turkish and the other a translation into English.

Found another blog today called Kurds and Kurdistan, it was started today and is fairly pro-PKK.  I am going to add them (and the three others from yesterday) to our link as well as the aggregator (which is caught up by-the-way).

So in my searching travels today I came across 3 new blogs.

Kurdistane Welat, is written in English but has more of Turkish Kurdistan approach to it. You will find some occasional Turkish entries in it.  They have only been around since this July.

The next item on our list is Dunyam (my world), written  Turkish, and started just this week.

Also started this week was another blog entitled Kurd_Ins, which as of today has only one post, which is a reprint of an article about the Kurdish language.
